Discover Vienna: Changemakers offers international impact-oriented startups who contribute to accelerating the transition towards a sustainable and fair world, an intense one week program in Vienna. Vienna has a diverse and powerful ecosystem, supporting social entrepreneurs and purpose driven founders and the city itself sees itself not only as a digital smart city, but also as a social city with a strong human-centric approach.

Discover Vienna: Changemakers is built as part of ViennaUP’22, a unique decentralized startup festival from the community for the community. The selected impact entrepreneurs will get the opportunity to meet the Viennese impact ecosystem, network with their peers from around the globe and attend all relevant formats across ViennaUP’22. 

Apply and increase your impact, meet international peers and get to know the thriving social startups ecosystem in the beautiful city of Vienna.

The program targets startups/companies that create competitive and innovative business models focusing on creating a sustainable world with a special focus on:

• Zero Emissions
• Financial Literacy
• Health

• Matchmaking & Networking: Get  connected with the Viennese impact-driven ecosystem and benefit from peer to peer networking
• Info sessions & Workshops: Learn more about the opportunities Vienna has in place for you and gain new insights through interactive workshops
• Attend ViennaUp (including specific events for impact entrepreneurs)
• Dedicated support from the team of WSA and the Vienna Business Agency

Conditions of participation

The program is designed for companies and startups that are not older than 8 years, are beyond the idea/prototype stage and have already successfully launched in their domestic market.

The program could be of great value, if your start-up is interested in:

• Exploring new business opportunities
• Exploring the dynamics of the Viennese ecosystem
• Looking for international partners
• Meeting like-minded international startups and companies

Following costs are covered:

• Accommodation (from May 26 to June 4, 2022)
• Entry to events organized by the Vienna Business Agency
• Access to ViennaUP Community
