Startup in Residence programme expands to Amsterdam Area

Solving social and urban challenges in the Amsterdam area

Startup in Residence has joined forces with nine municipalities across the region to connect startups, scale-ups, innovative small and medium-sized businesses as well as social enterprises with key social and urban challenges.

The regional programme is a collaboration with the municipalities of Haarlem, Haarlemmermeer, Velsen, Diemen, Lelystad, Almere, Purmerend, Zaanstad and Amsterdam. They will work together to solve seven defined challenges in fields ranging from social work to engineering – they include how to decrease loneliness and how to restore building foundations. The complete list of challenges is available here.
