Forbes revealed: The 10 Best And 10 Worst Places For Women To Work

To celebrate International Women’s Day, InterNations decided to take a look at the best and worst countries for women to work and, interesting for us, run a startup/business.

Czech Republic ranked at the top of the list, thanks to 83% of women who say the are happy with their jobs in the country. This is a whopping 11 percentage points higher than that of men (72%). Female expats in the country also tend to rate their career prospects better than male expats (73% versus 63%).

The ranking of the places in which women are least satisfied with their careers (and where they’re most satisfied) is based on the insights of 8,855 female expats that took part in the annual Expat Insider Survey. The survey’s Working Abroad Index covers several topics such as career prospects, work-life balance and job security.

The results revealed that Greece and Italy scored low, whereas Czech Republic, Bahrain, and Taiwan were the among the top-scorers.
